I am an Aust size 8.5 in shoes and the 39 was an exact match. The leather is beautiful, but slightly darker in colour then in the pictures. I also love the enclosed wedge heel, it gives you camouflaged height while still being comfortable. Be advised these boots are very fitted on the leg and especially around the calf.
