The look of the shoe did not look like your typical rain boot which I was looking for the most. Not to mention the wedge and ZIPPER. But nonetheless, I am having to return these beauties. I am normally a 9 1/2 and found the 9 to fit perfectly...in the foot. Unfortunately, the circumference of the shaft was just too small for my calves. I have what many call "athletic" calves and found that these just would not zip all the way up.
